Anna Maria Baur

Born in Innsbruck, Austria, Anna Maria is a Berlin-based photographer.
She has already gotten in touch with photography in her early years when taking part in an art class. Since then Anna Maria has caught everything that came across her on film. She tries to capture the world around her, is looking for the interesting, the weird and the unusual.
After finishing school education in the UK, she decided to take her passion to profession and moved to Berlin in 2010 in order to study photography at the „Neue Schule für Fotografie“ where she earned a Diploma in 2015.
During her studies she has taken her second passion of traveling to be a huge source for her photography. On several trips to Asia, North-, South- and Middle-America she has been looking to capture the realities at these places, getting in touch with locals, never tired of exploring the unexpected and bizarre.
She has covered stories from places and people that are mostly underreported, letting her curiosity and humor guide her narrative.
