Emotions, memories: frozen impressions in time. The image in its physicality remains in a state of hibernation of the visible. Reality piercing the unconsciousness in that solitary liminal place of body and mind.

WINTERSCHLAF opens a room for reflecting about lonely impressions of the daily emerging from the intimacy, from the seemingly eternal cycle of nature that is transferred to the continuous rhythm of life: here linear time structures seem lost. The winter stories being told by these eight photographers is their first group exhibition at the Puderraum.
